I designed Spotify’s first learning management system (LMS), Spotify Advertising Academy. The Academy was a self-guided educational platform for advertisers to learn how to become an expert in audio advertising.

Illustration
We collaborated with production house, Vidico, to create a unique illustration identity for the Academy. We created approachable and modular characters, as well was a system for illustrating various audio types. As an audio advertising brand, we needed to differentiate how we were visualizing podcast audio from music to ad reads.
Localization
Due to popular demand, the team localized the courses to 10 markets, resulting in an increased pipeline of ad spend opportunities for a total revenue of $1.54 million in just under 6 months after launch. We worked with regional partners to ensure the content was relevant to their market and I managed the translation of all the visual assets.

Collateral
Once the Academy was complete, we needed to collaborate with teams across the business to support the launch. For brand consistency, I reviewed or produced all of the marketing collateral, which included article assets, paid and organic media, e-mail campaigns, e-mail signatures and one-sheets.
